Definition (Graph of an Operator)

The graph of an operator $T$ in a Hilbert space $\mathcal{H}$ is the set of all pairs $(x,y)\in \mathcal{H}\times \mathcal{H}$ where $x$ lies in the domain of $T$ and $y=Tx$.
